VSO receives requests for volunteers to work in non-governmental organizations and community groups . The roles can be very varied but for the most part are concerned with organisational development, strategic planning and staff development. Some placements have an emphasis on a particular sector of management, for example human resources management, but a broad range of transferable skills will be required.

Volunteer Profile: The volunteer should have an academic or professional qualification and have considerable experience and transferable skills.

We are looking for people in the not-for-profit, private or public sector with at least three years experience in managing teams, managing projects, strategic planning, change management, systems development, staff development or budget planning.
