In partnership with employers and donors, all VSO voluteers are offered a modest financial package that includes:

	an equipment grant to help volunteers prepare for departure: This is around 500 pounds and is paid before your departure to your placement in Indian rupees. .
	return air fares by economy class
	Free modest accommodation and a monthly stipend overseas ( This stipend is good for heathy diet, clothes and some entertainment but it is not enough to save and send back home). The stipend varies from country to country. Show me current stipends in various countries
	mid term grant: Around 300 pounds .This is paid in the country of placement
	modest quarterly grant released throughout the service overseas: around 100 pounds.
	a resettlement grant upon return to India: This is around 1730 pounds and is paid in Indian Rupees. Please note that resettlement grant is only paid if the commitment of working 2 years overseas is completed.
