Micro-Finance and Business Advice :

Supporting micro enterprise and community businesses is a key part of many VSO programmes. Volunteers provide and help develop, a range of business advise and training. For a limited number of placements this involves the development of small business loans schemes.

Volunteer profile: Volunteers should have a business support and/or micro-finance scheme experience. Ideally they will also have an academic or professionally relevant qualification and atleast 3 years of work experience.
