Pusparaj Mohanty - PASECO Mombassa Kenya

Pusparaj comes from the Development Sector having worked with organisations like Care and Save the Children. He has been involved in Program management, partnership development and program monitoring with emphasis on education, rights of children, child trafficking and child development.

Partnership approaches to social, and economic construction (PASECO) is a Community Based Organization (CBO) conceptualized and founded in early 2002 and operating in Mombasa district targeting especially the poor clusters. The target population consists especially of the youths (in and out of school), house helps, people living with AIDS (PLWA), orphans and prisoners. The CBO was founded on realization of some existing disparities in various community services offered by the currently operating community services entities, such as CBOs, Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) as well as other groups. PASECO exists to provide unique interventions and/or employ realistic community based strategies and/or approaches otherwise non-existent with other organizations.

In his placement Pusparaj’s responsibilities are to recommend and facilitate implementation of necessary developmental needs and Carry out active fundraising to finance the various projects of PASECO. Pusapraj also facilitate community mobilisation for participation in PASECO projects
