There are many ways you can support iVolunteer Overseas (IVO). The first and foremost way is by volunteering on one of our assignments.
You can also support us by becoming a volunteer selector or trainer. Read through the links to find our more information about becoming a selector or trainer.
The other way you can support us is by promoting this programmes among your friends and communities. We are always looking for committed volunteers who will not mind spending two years of their lives and share their skills where they are needed the most.
Become a selector
You can support IVO by becoming a volunteer selector. We run on an average 3-4 assessment days a week and are always looking at external selectors to run these assessment days.
As part of the process we will provide you with free intensive training on how to become a volunteer selector.
Selectors take part in our assessment days with a minimum commitment of six days per year, assisting in the selection of suitable candidates for our volunteer placements overseas. It is an excellent opportunity to help promote VSO’s purpose of working towards a more equitable world, while developing assessment skills through experience and ongoing training.
Spread the word
You can promote this programme among your personal and professional acquaintances. We welcome committed volunteers who have the spirit of adventure and courage to make their dreams come true and share their skills to empower and touch lives across the world.
